Welcome to KJ and AJ Details. By booking our services, visiting our website, or communicating with us, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Our Services

KJ and AJ Details is a mobile auto detailing business operating in Rockford, IL and surrounding areas including Beloit, Janesville, and the Wisconsin stateline region. We offer exterior wash and wax, full interior detailing, paint decontamination, ceramic coating, odor removal, deep stain extraction, and related services.

All services are performed at a location provided by the client. It is the client's responsibility to ensure safe access to the vehicle, a reasonable workspace, and an accessible water and power source when required.

2. Booking and Payment

• Bookings are confirmed once a date and time are agreed upon in writing (text, email, or form submission).
• Pricing is based on the package selected and the condition of the vehicle. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price after inspection if the condition significantly exceeds what was described.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.
• We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and major credit cards.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• We ask for at least 24 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling.
• Same-day cancellations may be subject to a rescheduling fee at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. You will be notified as early as possible.

4. Pre-Existing Conditions and Vehicle Care

By booking with us, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for pre-existing damage to your vehicle, including but not limited to scratches, chips, dents, torn upholstery, worn trim, faded paint, or mechanical issues. We will point out any existing damage before beginning work when possible.

We exercise professional care in every detail. However, any items of value left inside the vehicle are the responsibility of the owner. We recommend removing personal items, electronics, and valuables before service.

5. Limitation of Liability

KJ and AJ Details will not be held liable for damages resulting from factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, mechanical failure, pre-existing conditions, or defects in the vehicle or products specified by the client. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our service, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

6. Satisfaction and Rework

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, please notify us before we leave the service location. We will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue on the spot. Concerns raised after our team has departed may be addressed at our discretion.

7. Website Use

The content on this website — including photos, text, branding, and pricing — is owned by KJ and AJ Details. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The most recent version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts of Winnebago County, Illinois.
